I thought I was in Seatle for the weekend because it rained about the whole time we where there. We rode around the Whitefish lake for a little leg opener Saturday morning to help open the legs after the 9hr car ride. With no break in the weather all day we headed out in to the wet streets. The race was fast with lots of accelerations from the many attacks. Tad raced like a total champion putting in himself in the pain cave time after time. I got 5 of 7 primes which i couldn't believe. With Five laps to go a GAS rider went off the front and had a 6 second lead. Tad but himself into the pain cave on the front tell one lap to go when a rider attacked on the right. It took me 3/4 lap to close the gap and went straight over the top of him starting to spring from 3 blocks out. Getting my First WIN of the season. Tad was a hero for sure

The road race didn't go as well but tad was a great help keeping a group of 2 riders off the front in check only giving them a 1 min lead to the base of the hill which didn't last long when the field hit the climb. I got gapped off on a super steep section of road only giving up 5 sec but could never close the gap. I end up 6th on the day and 2nd overall in the omnium. Not bad for only having two Bob's riders at the race.
